‘Best game this season’ – These Huddersfield fans were delighted with one man in Swansea win

Huddersfield Town enjoyed a stunning return to form on Saturday afternoon, as they thrashed promotion chasing Swansea City 4-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium.

After nine games without a win in all competitions, it was an emphatic way for the Terriers to get back to winning ways, with goals from Fraizer Campbell, Lewis O’Brien and a double from Duane Holmes ending a ten-game unbeaten run in the league for Swansea.

That result means that Huddersfield are now 18th in the Championship table, seven points clear of the relegation zone, making this a big win in every sense of the word.

How well do you remember Huddersfield Town's season so far?

Who did Huddersfield Town face in their first league match of the 2020/21 season?

One player who certainly impressed for Carlos Corberan’s side on Saturday, was O’Brien himself, with the midfielder firing in from distance to put his side 2-1 up shortly after half time, before setting Holmes for his stunning second that made it 4-1.

Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, plenty of Huddersfield were keen to pay tribute to O’Brien’s performance, as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
