Nottingham Forest picked up a huge three points for only the second time under Martin O'Neill, with a 2-1 home win over Brentford on Saturday afternoon.

It had been a difficult start for the 66-year old since taking the reins at the City Ground, and after losing 2-0 to Birmingham City last week, their hopes of a play-off finish were fading away.

But the Reds secured an invaluable three points as Molla Wague rose highest to net Forest's second goal of the afternoon, after Lewis Grabban had broken the deadlock in the first half.

It has been a frustrating period for Grabban of late - the 31-year old had gone nine games without a goal before yesterday, and had been benched for the last two games as well.
