A number of Derby County supporters have been reacting to the latest confirmation from the club that they have sold out their initial allocation of away tickets for their trip to Sheffield United on Saturday.

Derby have endured a very turbulent period over the last few days, with the Rams having entered into administration and with a lot of uncertainty over the long-term future of the club as a result.

Wayne Rooney’s side are set to face a 12 point deduction for entering into administration and that would take them back down to the bottom of the table. That comes with them having taken ten points from their opening eight Championship fixtures.

The Rams did secure a morale-boosting win against Stoke City at the weekend in a performance that showed that the players are still giving everything for the club despite all of the off-the-field issues.

A result against an improving Sheffield United side next time out in the league will be difficult for Rooney’s side under the circumstances. While they have already lost 2-1 at Bramall Lane in the League Cup last month.

However, despite that, Derby have announced on their official Twitter that they have sold out their initial allocation of away tickets for the game.

Many Derby fans were left reflecting on how impressive the fan base can be when they pull together even in difficult moments and it shows that they deserve far more than what if going on with the club at the moment.
