West Brom kept their hopes of an automatic promotion spot alive as they beat local rivals Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park yesterday.

It was a huge win for Darren Moore's side, displaying resilience and endeavour as well as a strong line of defence. They've got an embarrassment of riches in the middle of the back four, with Craig Dawson and Kyle Bartley both good enough to grace virtually any other Championship side.

Both have been overshadowed by the Egyptian powerhouse Ahmed Hegazi and once again, his performance got fans on social media purring with delight.

The 28-year-old joined from Egyptian side Al Ahly in December 2017 after a successful loan spell and he's gone on to cement himself as a firm fan's favourite at the Hawthorns. He's started 65 matches for them and is one of the first names on the team sheet for the Baggies.

Yesterday he was in typically commanding form and once again, his displays have been drawing superlatives from these West Brom supporters.
