Sheffield United fans went into the summer feeling happy enough as they saw their side win out 3-2 at Bristol City to seal a tenth place finish on their return to the Championship.

The Blades have had an excellent season back in the second tier following their six year hiatus down in League One, and one of the key factors has been the goals of Leon Clarke and Billy Sharp, who have knocked in over 30 goals between them.

Captain Sharp, who hit 30 last season in League One, hit his 14th of the season yesterday with another stunning finish to put a nice finishing touch on the season on a personal note for him, and he took to Twitter following the game to sum up the season and thank the fans.

Sharp is a massive fan favourite at Bramall Lane, and the responses were always bound to come flooding in towards Sharp, and they did just that, with plenty of Blades fans taking time out to reply.
