Sheffield Wednesday’s clash with Rotherham was disrupted this evening as the players left the pitch due to an unauthorised drone flying above the ground.

The two Yorkshire sides are meeting in what is a huge fixture at the bottom of the Championship, with Garry Monk’s side desperate to move closer to zero points after they were hit with a deduction before the campaign began.
However, both sets of players were forced off after just four minutes and 15 seconds at the New York Stadium tonight and to those watching it wasn’t clear as to why.
Rotherham’s official Twitter account cleared it up though, explaining that a drone was flying above which caused safety concerns.
As you would expect, this got the fans talking as it’s not something you see often and there were plenty of jokes from the Owls supporters considering the tough start to the season they’ve had.
