Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has claimed he can see the pressure growing on Huddersfield Town already in the race for promotion, reports Chronicle Live journalist, Lee Ryder.
David Wagner’s Huddersfield are aiming to catch Newcastle and Brighton and Hove Albion, who currently sit first and second in the Sky Bet Championship table.
Town are third and seven-points behind the Magpies and six behind Chris Hughton’s Brighton.
With the Championship run-in beginning this weekend, Benitez has claimed the pressure is starting to show, he said: “You can see now that Huddersfield are feeling the pressure.”

Wagner’s side suffered a disappointing defeat prior to last week’s international break, losing 4-0 to struggling Bristol City.
Benitez will be hopeful his side can return to winning ways this weekend, having failed to record a victory in their last three fixtures, when they welcome Wigan Athletic to St James’ Park.
