There is every chance that Tottenham could recall Josh Onomah from his loan spell at Aston Villa.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino recently discussed the idea of it, and if he did, it would leave Steve Bruce with a big decision to make.

Buy someone to fill the void? Or give a chance to someone like Jack Grealish or Callum O'Hare?

We discuss...

Chris Gallagher

They don't need a new signing, they have the perfect replacement in Callum O'Hare.

Losing Onomah would be a blow but it would give O'Hare more game time and he deserves that.

With Jack Grealish back as well, Villa are well stocked in the attacking midfield position, so they can cope.

Adam Simeoni

If Onomah does indeed go, then another young loanee is likely to come in. Perhaps Bruce will take a punt on young Welshman, Ben Woodburn?

The teenager has already appeared for Liverpool and the Welsh national side, and could prove to be a perfect addition to Bruce's promotion-chasing side.

George Dagless

It's hard to say with the FFP issue so it'd be another loan player.

I think Villa should go after another young Premier League star to match the impact Onomah has had so far.

Maybe even Marcus Edwards at Spurs who is highly fancied at the moment but needs a senior run.

Alfie Burns

Nobody, Bruce should turn to Jack Grealish and Callum O’Hare, two players who are more than capable of stepping into Onomah’s shoes.

Bruce has a limited budget heading into January and adding another striker needs to be a priority.

Obviously, if Onomah leaves it is a blow, but Bruce should be confident enough in what he already has to deal with that blow.
