Leeds United have made a relatively strong start to their Championship campaign this term under Marcelo Bielsa.

The Whites are currently sat third in the league table, and are just two points adrift of league leaders West Brom heading into their game this weekend.

One player that has been key to Leeds' impressive performances this season is Ben White, with the Brighton loanee forming an impressive partnership with Leeds captain Liam Cooper.

In a recent interview with the Yorkshire Evening Post, White was full of praise for Cooper, and insists that the 28-year-old will continue to look to get the best out of him whilst with Marcelo Bielsa's men.

"Playing alongside Liam (Cooper) has been great too, he’s been really good for me.

"His experience is really important for the side and he’s helped me to fit in with the team and will keep pushing me on to perform in the best way I can. We’ve kept our form strong and I’m delighted with how it’s gone so far, we’re doing really well.

"The hard work we put in during the week is showing in our results, as well as the things we did during pre-season before a ball was kicked."

White has made () appearances for Leeds so far this season, and will be hoping that he can can continue to be a key member of Bielsa's squad as the season heads into the festive period.

Leeds are next in action on Saturday when they host Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road in a game where they'll be expected to pick up another win to aid their promotion bid this season.

The Verdict:

They've both impressed me.

I'll be the first to admit that I had my doubts as to whether White was capable of filling the sizeable void left by Pontus Jansson in the summer, but I'm pleased to see him proving me wrong.

Without the Brighton loanee in their squad, I don't think Leeds would be in such a strong position heading into the potentially season-defining festive period.
