Leeds United made easy work of Salford in the League Cup last night, with goals from Eddie Nketiah, Gaetano Berardi and Mateusz Klich sealing an impressive 3-0 win.

Given the priority for the Whites this season is promotion to the Premier League, many expected Marcelo Bielsa to make wholesale changes last night.

However, even though the Argentinian did rotate, he selected a very strong XI and it paid off in style.

One player who kept his place was centre-back Ben White, whilst Jack Clarke was handed his first start since he returned to the club on loan from Spurs.

And, White took to social media today with a funny dig at the winger, sharing the below image on his Instagram story of Clarke's 'Farmers tan'.

The players would have been at training today, although the duo wouldn't have had a serious session given they both featured last night.

Leeds are back in action this weekend when they travel to Wigan and White is sure to keep his place in the heart of the defence, whilst Clarke seems set to drop back to the bench.

The Verdict

Supporters of the Yorkshire club will love to see the players having a laugh with each other over social media and it indicates there is a close bond between the pair.

This is a positive of social media as it gives fans a chance to see what it's like in the dressing room.

They will be very pleased with how White has settled and they will remember just how good Clarke can be after his displays last season.
