Luton Town will be hoping to avoid a fourth defeat in five league matches when they travel to Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.

The Hatters, who currently sit in 11th place, performed well at QPR on Friday night but they were unable to take advantage of the chances they were presented with.

Nathan Jones' side are currently five points outside of the Championship play-offs, and whilst the division's top-six is well within the realms of possibility this season, The Hatters will be content with another season of progression.

Tomorrow, Luton come up against a Nottingham Forest side who have turned a corner since Steve Cooper was appointed and will be targeting all three points and a place in the top half of the division.

Here, we take a look at how Luton could line up against The Reds.

Luton do seem to match up their opposition in terms of formation, with The Hatters trying to get the edge with their athleticism, meaning a 5-2-2-1 formation could be deployed.

Simon Sluga was at fault for the first goal against QPR on Friday, but that is not likely to stop him from starting again against The Reds.

James Bree and Amari'i Bell have proven to be threats going forward this season, and both have the defensive capabilities required to come up against strong Forest wingers in Joe Lolley and Brennan Johnson.

Luton seem pretty set with Tom Lockyer, Kal Naismith and Sonny Bradley as a back three when all are fit and a back three is opted for, although, Reece Burke is also a good option who will be knocking on the door.

Henri Lansbury is a real class act in the middle of midfield, whilst he also has the fight and tenacity to cause problems, with Allan Campbell also a relentless presser of the ball.

Fred Onyedinma was tasked with operating as a left-wing back on Friday and did a good job, but he could be deployed back in his preferred left-wing position.

Harry Cornick could be shifted from a striker to the right-wing, with Elijah Adebayo expected to start up front once again.
