The Belgian midfielder joined on a one-month loan deal on transfer deadline day from the recently promoted side as he looked for first team football after a frustrating first season at Carrow Road.

He started all four games while he was at the club and, despite Black confirming his intentions to keep the 26-year old at the club, he has chosen to return and fight for his place in Alex Neil’s squad.

“Vadis expressed his desire to return to Norwch City following the conclusion of his loan which is a decision we fully respect,” said Black. “We would like to thank him for his contribution whilst at Rotherham United and wish him well for the rest of the season.”

He scored one goal for the Millers in his time with the club and will hope that he has impressed the Norwich City coaching staff enough to earn a place in their starting XI.
