Millwall have confirmed that midfielder, Shane Ferguson has signed a new contract with the club after an impressive start to this season.
The 27-year-old signed a permanent deal with Millwall in January 2016, and has been a useful player to rely on when called upon by Neil Harris.
The Northern Irish international has made 23 appearances in the Championship this season, and he’ll be hoping to secure a regular starting spot for the remainder of this year’s campaign.
Ferguson has two goals and three assists to his name so far this season, and he is a versatile option to have for Millwall going forward as he can also operate at full-back as well as out wide.
In total, he’s made 134 appearances for the Lions and has established himself as a firm fans favourite at The Den since he first arrived at the club.
It’s safe to say that Millwall supporters were delighted by this latest news.
