Plenty of Coventry City supporters have taken to social media to react to the news that the Sky Blues have been drawn away to Colchester United in the FA Cup first round.

The Sky Blues have made an encouraging start to the season in League One, although they've got some tough games coming up in the next few days - against fourth-placed Fleetwood Town and third-placed Peterborough United.

Coventry boss Mark Robins will be firmly focused on making sure his side deliver maximum points from those matches, but he'll also be looking ahead to the FA Cup first round in a couple of weeks time, when his side will take on Colchester.

Colchester have made decent start to the season in League Two and are currently eleventh in the table, just two points outside the play-off places - despite losing their last two matches.

The U's have already produced a couple of big upsets in the cup so far this season, after knocking two Premier League sides - Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur - out of the Carabao Cup on penalties.

Plenty of Coventry fans took to social media to react to the draw. Some fans admitted that they were hoping for a more exciting tie, while others pointed out that this could a potential banana skin for the Sky Blues.
