The Football League show with Manish Bhasin will now be repeated on Sunday mornings

The Football League Show will be aired on Sunday morning as well as Saturday night during 2014-15, the BBC announced this week.

A repeat of the highlights programme for the Championship, League One and League Two, which usually follows Match of the Day on BBC One, will be broadcast on BBC Two; Manish Bhasin continues as host, with Steve Claridge and Leroy Rosenior the regular pundits and Mark Clemmit remaining as roving reporter.

The season that starts on Friday, when Blackburn Rovers host Cardiff City, is the sixth to be shown by the BBC since they won rights to screen Football League matches; for the first three years, the deal included 10 live Championship games plus live coverage of the League Cup semi-finals and final, as per The Guardian.

Previously, free-to-air highlights of the lower divisions were on ITV, firstly via Football League Extra on Monday evening and then on Sunday morning show The Championship.
