Norwich defender, Sebastien Bassong is looking set for a three month loan move to the Hornets, according to the Daily Mail.

The Cameroonian is not being involved in the first team at Norwich City since their relegation, and is looking set to join Watford on loan, as new boss Billy McKinlay looks to bolster his defence.

Some rumours suggest that the experienced Premier League defender has fell out with the Neil Adams since Chris Hughton's departure, but Adams is happy to let the former Canaries captain make the temporary switch to Hertfordshire.

The twenty-eight year old was involved in a development match on Monday against Southampton, and received a praise from the boss.

Bassong has made fifteen appearances for Cameroon, and two appearances for France under 21's.

The defender has played for all of former Norwich manager Chris Hughton's former clubs, in Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and now Norwich City, raking up fifty-seven appearances for the Norfolk side, since signing from Spurs in 2012 for an undisclosed fee.
