Charlton Athletic suffered a home defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, as the away side came out 2-0 winners at the Valley.

Lee Bowyer's side conceded two goals in the first half and could never get back into the game as Charlton failed to back-up an impressive midweek victory over Nottingham Forest.

The Addicks are now just five points away from the relegation zone, though they were helped by the fact that Wigan Athletic failed to pick up a victory in their match with Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

John Buckley opened the scoring for Rovers before Tosin Adarabioyo made it two just before half-time. Despite having some early chances, Charlton never looked threatening enough and couldn't get the result they wanted in front of a sold-out crowd.

Next up, Bowyer's side have a home clash with Luton Town, in a game that has the potential to have huge consequences for the sides at the bottom of the Championship table.

Football League World asked Facebook group, Charlton Athletic FC(The unofficial & UnCensored Charlton Fans Group), what changes needed to be made by Bowyer ahead of the fixture with Luton.

Simon Gibbons: His lucky jumper as it ain't working anymore!

David Taylor: Lose the five at the back and play a passing game...

Kate Norton: Think he’ll change midfield. Hopefully Williams will be back and have little Oztumer in. Also put Pratley back in.

Matt Broad: A bit of luck would be nice. Deflected goal and poor ref decision that lead to the second goal was just bad all round. Options limited but would like to see Otzumer start. If Green is fit then him as well with Bonne and Taylor.

Gary Crawford: Bonne and Taylor up front. Green and Williams in midfield.

Joe Crawford: They need to work on their positional play in defence and defensive midfield. There is no understanding between any of the players - no one covers or compensates when a player is drawn out of position. Basic stuff that is coached to academy kids.

Chris Stevens: Team’s attitude!
