Millwall loanee Bartosz Bialkowski has admitted that he would like to join the club on a permanent deal following a successful first stint in London.

The 32-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with the Lions and has been terrific since joining the club. He's managed to keep eight clean sheets in all competitions with six of those coming under new manager Gary Rowett.

Bialkowski almost joined Millwall permanently in the summer, but when the deal was almost completed there was a injury issue flagged up during the medical.

The Polish shot-stopper is now determined to get the move that he wants and has expressed how much he's been enjoying playing for Millwall over the last few months.

Speaking to NewsAtDen, Bialkowski said: “Absolutely, yeah. I’ve said I’m enjoying it and when you’re enjoying something it’s so much easier to make a decision.

“Obviously it’s not down to me. There are three parties involved in the situation. For me I can say I would be very happy if I signed here on a permanent deal.”

The Verdict

There's no reason why the Lions shouldn't get this deal done, and the only possible stopping point would be if Ipswich got promoted to the Championship and wanted the goalkeeper to play for them once more.

Millwall are flying at the minute, and he's been a key part to their success with a number of brilliant saves that have helped clinch valuable points against sides such as Brentford and Leeds.

If they can get him in for a relatively cheap fee, then this would be a great signing and again would be made even better for supporters as he has openly stated that he wants to sign permanently for the club.
