Leeds United have made a promising start to their second season under head coach Marcelo Bielsa and are currently second in the Championship table, after winning six of their opening ten league matches.

There are plenty of players who have impressed for the Whites so far this season, but one player who has caught the eye of Leeds supporters in particular is winger Helder Costa.

The 25-year-old has made quite an impression since arriving at Elland Road on a loan-to-buy deal from Wolves this summer and the Portuguese wideman produced another dazzling display against West Brom on Tuesday night.

Costa has impressed fans at Elland Road with his blistering pace and skill on the ball, and Leeds defender Barry Douglas has come up with his own nickname for the winger.

Following the 1-0 win over West Brom on Tuesday night, Costa posted four photos of himself in action against the Baggies on his personal

Douglas was one of several Leeds players to comment on Costa's post and shared his own nickname for the forward, referring him as 'Roadrunner'.

The Verdict

Costa is a fantastic player and I think he could turn out to be an excellent signing for Leeds. He's a very talented footballer and he's capable of producing moments of individual brilliance that can change games.

He's got plenty of experience in the Championship too and I think he's going to have a very important role to play in Leeds' promotion push this season.

I'm surprised he hasn't started more games for Leeds this season and it'll be interesting to see if he keeps his place in the side once Pablo Hernandez returns from injury.
