Blackburn Rovers have welcomed back Bradley Dack this week after a significant spell on the sidelines for the playmaker.

Dack's last appearance for Rovers came on December 23rd, with a near 12-month spell on the sidelines following after a cruciate ligament injury.

However, there's light at the end of the tunnel now for the 26-year-old.

20 quiz questions about Blackburn Rovers’ current squad that Rovers fans should be getting correct

Yesterday, Dack played 45 minutes for Rovers in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Sheffield United.

The game finished 2-2, with Dack's return the key highlight for many of a Rovers persuasion.

Barry Douglas also stepped up his return from isolation with 45 minutes, but the left-back was amongst those to take to Instagram to underline the return of Dack, sharing a simple message on his story: "Lovely sight that."

Tony Mowbray's side have lacked consistency in the Championship this season and sit 12th in the table heading out of the November international break.

However, in a congested division, they are only five points adrift of the play-off picture and looking to kick-on heading into the festive period.

The Verdict

Dack's return is massive for Blackburn.

He's a top, top player and he will make such a difference to Mowbray.

Of course, he needs time to build-up his match fitness, but when he's available, he will make an already-strong attack even more dangerous.

Like Douglas, the Rovers fans will be buzzing.
