Norwich City are not enjoying the best of seasons under Daniel Farke, with the German boss' side struggling in mid-table during his first campaign in English football.

The Canaries have failed to threaten the top-six all season, and face a huge Christmas period as they look to close the gap between themselves and the playoff pack.

Farke will hope the board remain patient with him this season, and will perhaps have his sights set on the next campaign as the one in which he wins promotion, but the German cannot be seen to be giving up this semester.

January is an excellent opportunity for the former Borussia Dortmund II boss to make changes to his side, and perhaps a remarkable run of form will follow with an injection of new faces.

A couple of deals could go through at Carrow Road, with this man leaving, and this new face joining the club…

IN: Tom Bradshaw

25-year-old Bradshaw has impressed despite current club Barnsley struggling towards the bottom of the table this season, with the Welsh international finding the back of the net on seven occasions.

Bradshaw has scored wherever he has been, and Norwich are in desperate need of a goalscorer to relieve some of the pressure from Nelson Oliveira and James Maddison.

A natural goalscorer like Bradshaw would fit the bill perfectly, and shouldn’t cost the world to bring to Carrow Road.

Farke obviously has Premier League ambitions, something Bradshaw sadly won’t achieve with the Tykes, so if the German can convince him of his plans, then Bradshaw could lead the line for the remainder of the season.

He would score a lot of goals alongside Oliveira.

OUT: Steven Naismith

The Scot has failed to make his mark on the side this season, making just two appearances in the league.

The 31-year-old appears to have fallen out of favour under Farke, and a return to Scotland is probably the best switch for the experienced striker at this stage of his career.

£3.5 million-rated Naismith still has a lot to offer, and will begin to find the net once more at a new club, but his future does not lie in East Anglia.

A move would be the best option for both player and club, with a lot of interest sure to materialise in the former Everton man should he become available.
