Barnsley manager Lee Johnson is already planning for next season and has offered new terms to just one of eight players out of contract in the summer, reports The Star.
Club captain Martin Cranie, fellow defenders Lewin Nyantanga and Jean Yves-M’Voto are all out of contract at the end of the season, so too are strikers Kane Hemmings and Leroy Lita.
The South Yorkshire club will spend another season in Sky Bet League One after a run of four matches without a win ended their chances of sneaking into the play-offs.
Johnson left fellow League One side Oldham Athletic to take over the reigns at Barnsley and has won four and drawn six of his first 12 matches in charge.
The club have also announced a new four-year kit deal with Puma and Genesis Sports starting from the 2015/16 season.
The new Puma home kit will on sale from early June, which will coincide with the opening of Barnsley’s new retail store.
