Barnsley are currently sitting pretty in the Championship this season in fifth place as they look to secure a play-off spot and fight their way to the Premier League. 

The Tykes have been in tremendous form of late and have a lot to thank their new manager Valerien Ismael for.

The Frenchman joined the club in October 2020 and has helped guide the team to 20 league wins so far this season.

The former LASK boss also saw them win seven games on the bounce in the Championship, something very few clubs manage.
