Barnsley agree terms for highly-regarded Premier League striker

Barnsley FC are set to seal a deal for West Ham United striker Elliot Lee after agreeing terms with the Premier League side, according to the club’s official website.

Lee will join the Tykes on a free transfer after being released from Upton Park after agreeing personal terms at Oakwell.

Elliot was never really given a chance at West Ham even though he scored in their brief spell in the Europa League last summer.

The 21 year old who was brought up through the ranks of the Hammer’s spent his last year in League One with Blackpool and Colchester United on loan.

The youngster is known for his goal scoring prowess and a player that could make a significant impact at Barnsley next season.

The striker will have the opportunity to prove himself in the Championship with Barnsley and will link up with his new team mates next week for pre season.
