Kieffer Moore's impressive performances across the international break helped Wales qualify for Euro 2020 and many fans of the national side have suggested he may have earned himself a big January move.

The Wigan Athletic striker played the full 90 minutes against Azerbaijan and Hungary, helping Ryan Giggs' side come away with 2-0 wins in both games.

Last night's victory against Hungary meant Wales finished second in Group E and secured their place in next summer's tournament.

The 27-year-old grabbed an assist for Aaron Ramsey's second goal yesterday and opened the scoring against Azerbaijan on Saturday, scoring a towering header in the 10th minute.

It has been an excellent few days for the 6ft 5in frontman, who won 24 of his 33 aerial duels and 13 of 26 of his ground duels during the international break, as well as contributing four key passes–according to Sofascore.

Moore joined Wigan from Barnsley for a reported fee of £2.5 million in the summer and hasn't quite recaptured the goalscoring form that saw him find the net 19 times for the Tykes last season.

In the 2019/20 campaign, the Welshman has scored just once in 14 appearances for the Latics but will undoubtedly be high on confidence following his excellent displays for his national side.

He appears to have impressed Welsh fans, however, as many of them took to Twitter to suggest he could be off to a big club in January...
