‘Baller’, ‘Class’ – Plenty of Barnsley fans left impressed with 25-y/o’s recent display in win over Bristol City

Barnsley’s impressive run of form in the Championship continued on Saturday, as they ran out 1-0 winners over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.Β

Carlton Morris scored the only goal of the game to see Valerien Ismael’s side pick up another important three points on the day, as they edge closer to the play-off positions.

Barnsley are now sat tenth in the second-tier standings, and are four points adrift of sixth-placed AFC Bournemouth, but more importantly, the Tykes have a game in hand over the Cherries, which could see them close the gap even further on them in the coming weeks.

Did these former Barnsley players leave for a higher or lower fee than what they arrived for?

Did Jacob Brown leave Barnsley for a higher or lower fee than when he signed for the club?

Morris was making his seventh appearance of the season for Barnsley, and was clearly eager to build on their strong run of results heading into the final few months of the 2020/21 campaign.

Barnsley are set to return to action in midweek, when they take on play-off chasing rivals Stoke City at Oakwell, in what is likely to be a tricky test for the Tykes.

Plenty of Barnsley supporters took to social media to react to Morris’ recent display in the win over the Robins at Ashton Gate.
