Coventry City finally reversed their downward slide and won their first promotion in 51 years at Wembley on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Sky Blues put in a dominant display in the League Two play-off final to earn a deserved 3-1 victory over Exeter City and win promotion back to the third tier at the first time of asking.

It was a massive sigh of relief for the Coventry supporters, who have had little to cheer about since their 1987 FA Cup victory and since their relegation from the Premier League in 2001.

Now that Coventry are back in League One, manager Mark Robins is already eyeing another promotion challenge and with players like Jack Grimmer, Michael Doyle, Marc McNulty and Tom Bayliss in his ranks, he has the makings of a squad capable of this.

But there are other players who are not quite at League One standard and if Coventry can flog them, they would generate more spending money for better players.

Here are three men Robins should look to part ways with this summer if he can find suitors.

When Coventry signed Vincenti, fans were excited to have a versatile, experienced player in their ranks.

But the 31-year-old has not hit the heights expected of him this season and he has fallen down the pecking order due to the emergence of youngsters such as Bayliss and Jordan Shipley.

If Coventry can find a suitor for the Jersey international, they should let him leave as he is not quite at the standard Robins requires.

Maycock is simply not good enough for Coventry and he is not likely to become a first-team regular in the future.

The 20-year-old has played 12 games in total for the Sky Blues but he looks weak in possession and not quite at the standard required.

There is bound to be a League Two or National League side willing to take a punt of the Coventry academy graduate and Robins should let him leave.

Experienced forward Beavon has hardly got a look-in at Coventry this season.

The 34-year-old scored no goals in 18 games for Coventry this season, which is a dreadful return for a centre-forward, and he has not featured since December.

His chances of playing for Coventry next season are looking even slimmer with McNulty, Maxime Biamou, Reise Allassani, Jordan Ponticelli and possible Jonson Clarke-Harris in their forward ranks.
