It was another difficult year in the Sky Bet Championship for Birmingham City, who once again found themselves battling against relegation.

The Blues needed a 3-1 victory over Fulham on the final day of the season to secure their place in the Championship.

Garry Monk was the man to guide Birmingham to safety, with the ex-Leeds, Swansea and Middlesbrough boss bringing some positivity, despite Birmingham’s close shave.

Monk will not want another relegation battle next season and will be looking to reshape his squad this summer to make sure that doesn’t happen.

There will be additions made to Birmingham’s squad, as Monk looks to put his own twist on the squad he inherited, but the Blues will have to move on some players to balance the books.

Here at FLW, we take a closer look at Birmingham’s squad, identifying THREE players Monk should be looking to move on this summer…

Stockdale might not have been on the fringe, but Birmingham will want a new No.1 ahead of next season.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper is a good Championship player, but it hasn’t worked out in Birmingham.

He should still attract plenty of Championship interest.

Roberts arrived 12 months ago, but he found himself not first choice at St Andrew’s.

With others ahead of him in the pecking order, Birmingham could cash-in before he loses too much value.

Jutkiewicz was another not particularly on the fringe under Monk, but he might find that the case next season.

Che Adams will be ahead of him in the pecking order, and you’d imagine Monk will want to bring in a fresh option to lead the line.

Jutkiewicz could be one player sacrificed this summer.
