Leeds United are continuing their pre-season preparations, with the majority of the squad currently in Australia for an eagerly-anticipated friendly clash with rivals, Manchester United.

But there are some players that have been left at the club's training ground, with Bielsa keen to see all of his first-team squad undergo pre-season testing before the new season gets underway in August.

One of those is Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who will be hoping to prove himself over pre-season, as he looks to force his way back into the first-team picture ahead of Kiko Casilla.

The Northern Irish international took to Instagram to post a photo of team-mate, Ezgjan Alioski, who was evidently feeling the affects of the pre-season testing.

Alioski was key to Leeds' impressive performances last season, and he'll be hoping to build on that next term, as Marcelo Bielsa's side go in search of a long-awaited promotion to the Premier League.

Peacock-Farrell made 28 appearances for the Whites last term, but saw his game time limited in the second-half of the season, as Kiko Casilla replaced him in the starting XI.

Both Alioski and Peacock-Farrell are undergoing pre-season testing later than the majority of the squad as they returned to the club's training ground later, due to the international commitments over the summer.

Leeds get their season underway against Lee Johnson's Bristol City, in what will be a potentially tricky opening fixture for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The Verdict:

The pair will be keen to play their part in Leeds' promotion push next season.

Peacock-Farrell in particular has a point to prove, and I think he would be deserving of a place between the sticks instead of Kiko Casilla, who struggled towards the end of last year's campaign.

Alioski will be hoping to pick up where he left off, and if he can do that, then Leeds will certainly be challenging for a long-awaited return to the Premier League.
