Luton Town beat Millwall at The Den for the first time since 1999 on Saturday, lifting them to 10th in the table.

Nathan Jones' side were convincing 2-0 winners as Harry Cornick got on the scoresheet twice. Millwall did create the better chances throughout the game and had a penalty saved as Jed Wallace's spot-kick was saved by Simon Sluga.

He was the busier keeper and had to make five saves throughout the game but it was Luton that were the more clinical side in front of goal.

Forward Harry Cornick gave Luton the lead in the 11th minute as good work from Jordan Clark fed Cornick, who hit the top corner with an emphatic finish.

Cornick then combined with Clark again eight minutes into the second half as the player played a through ball into Luton's number seven, who stroked the ball past Bart Bialkowski.

It could have been three but Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu hit the bar before Sluga saved a penalty from Jed Wallace. But it was Cornick that took the plaudits as his fine form in front of goal earnt the Hatters three points away at The Den.

Many fans recognised his contribution and took to Twitter to praise the forward. Here's what they said.
