Reading certainly surprised a few during the summer transfer window, as the Royals made some ‘big-money’ signings under the management of Jose Gomes.
However, after a sluggish start to the 2019/20 campaign, Gomes was dismissed from his role in charge at the Madejski Stadium.
That led to Mark Bowen taking over the first-team, and he has shown promising signs so far in the dugout with the Berkshire-based side.

One player that the Madejski Stadium faithful are keen to see Bowen get the best out of is Romanian striker George Puscas, who arrived in the summer for a fee believed to be in the region of £8million.
Puscas has shown glimpses of his quality for the Royals, with the 24-year-old netting a hat-trick against Wigan Athletic in just five minutes.
The forward has scored 11 goals in 33 appearances for Reading so far, and will be keen to find some consistency in front of goal when the season gets back underway.
Plenty of Reading supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Puscas’ time with the club to date.

Way to early to judge that, I will judge him next season when he gets a proper preseason.

Took a while to settle in, could argue he's still settling, but second highest top scorer this season behind Meite. Has been on and off, but he just needs a bit of time. He's young with bags of potential.

Think it’s to early to judge him!!

Believe him and Joao could be ruthless next season when they played together seemed to link up very very well.

Not yet, if he performs well in the pre-season I could see him becoming an architect of an promotion run next season

Don’t think he can in his first season. Think the price tag would need to be judged over a couple seasons.

Agree with the above, way too early. Championship is a tough division too, so players need a chance to bed in.

Too early to say I remember how I didn’t rate Yann under McDermott, look how that turned out a season later

He is starting to, but selling him now would be madness
