Leeds United last night agreed to part ways with young striker Mallik Wilks, who completed a move to fellow Yorkshire club Barnsley.

Wilks signed a four-year deal with the Reds to make a move away from Elland Road a permanent one, putting to bed speculation about his future following on from a massivley successful campaign with Doncaster Rovers last season.

The youngster fired in 16 goals in all competitions for Rovers, and there was an expectancy among some Leeds fans that this season could see Wilks break into the first-team folder under Marcelo Bielsa.

However, it's not to be for Wilks at Elland Road, and he will now move on to the Reds with the hopes of becoming their major goal threat as Daniel Stendel's men look to make a swift start to life back in the Championship.

Leeds fans though don't seem too impressed with the decision to sell, and while at Oakwell there is delight, it seems at Elland Road there is plenty of complaining being done by the Whites faithful on Twitter.

With that, we looked at just what Leeds fans had to say about Wilks' departure from Elland Road...
