Sheffield Wednesday fell to a 1-0 defeat at Millwall yesterday in what was a very frustrating afternoon for the Owls.

Matt Smith gave the hosts the lead with a header from a corner, however when Jed Wallace was sent off in the first-half it seemed as if Wednesday could maintain their 100% record.

But, it wasn't to be as the Yorkshire outfit struggled to create clear chances, with the surprising decision to leave Fernando Forestieri out backfiring.

Caretaker boss Lee Bullen told the Sheffield Star that the forward wasn't included in the 18 because of the physicality of the Lions, with Jordan Rhodes and Atdhe Nuhiu the attacking options on the bench.

And, it's fair to say that the fans did not agree with the decision to leave the 29-year-old out the squad and many felt he would've made a real difference as Wednesday looked to open up a stubborn Millwall defence.
