Ian Holloway's Queens Park Rangers suffered their first defeat in five league outings on Friday night as they went away from Pride Park empty handed following a 1-0 loss to Derby County.

The Hoops made four changes to the starting eleven prior to kick-off; midfielders Ryan Manning, James Perch and Pawel Wszolek alongside forward Conor Washington were rewarded with a place to start the game.

In a game that QPR goalkeeper Alex Smithies will want to forget for making a number of errors, the visitors conceded in the 70th minute when the man between the sticks couldn't keep out Tom Ince's effort and Matej Vydra was on hand to put the ball away.

Holloway's men could have got an equaliser late on when Idrissa Sylla leaped above the Derby defence from a corner but could only divert his chance onto the post.

Rangers remain ten points above the dreaded drop zone but have played a game more than teams around them, meaning the difference could be seven by 5pm on Saturday.

Here is how QPR fans reacted on Twitter to the defeat....
