QPR saw their winless run extend to seven matches over the weekend as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Derby County at Pride Park.

Mark Warburton's side were looking to bounce back from their humiliating 4-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest during the week, but they fell behind to Martyn Waghorn's opener before Eberechi Eze levelled the scores from the spot.

The Rs have struggled to find form of late despite their impressive start to the campaign, and they are now languishing at 16th in the Championship table after failing to pick up three points since their win over Hull back in October.

The biggest concern for QPR will be their poor defensive record, with Warburton's side yet to keep a clean sheet this season, and this significant frailty could hold them back from challenging for a play-off spot at the end of the campaign.

Rangers' disappointing run of form has led to reports that the club are preparing to axe Warburton and replace him with Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth, despite the fact Warburton was only appointed to the role over the summer.

One QPR fan took to Facebook to suggest a candidate to replace Warburton: "Thoughts on Warnock at QPR again? Me personally would love it."

Plenty of QPR supporters responded to this suggestion with some of them claiming Warnock would represent a step backwards, while others urged their fellow fans to get behind the current boss rather than suggesting alternatives.

Here are some of their responses...

Martin O'Shea: About time he retired.

Adam King: We already have a manager. And anyone who thinks we should change manager now, really should jog on. We really don't need fans like that.

Lee Carters: No we've got a good manager in warburton and we should stick with him

Mark Haden: Backwards step no thank you

John Clark: Unless I am mistaken, we currently have a manager.

Stuart Campbell: Warnock was great for us but Warburton is the right man for us now

Thomas Jannone: warburton is doing amazing when you think what he has available to him. could have done with warburton 6 or 7 yrs ago
