Sunderland will be keen to get their promotion bid back on track this weekend, when they host promotion rivals Ipswich Town at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats were beaten by Portsmouth in their last outing, and will be hoping they can pick up a much-needed three points to fire themselves back into the play-off places.

Phil Parkinson's side are currently sat seventh in the League One table, and will be keen to stay in touch with the promotion-chasing pack for as long as possible this term.

They come up against an Ipswich Town side that have been disappointing since the turn of the year, and they'll be eager to send out a real statement to their promotion rivals with a positive result on the day.

Parkinson has named his starting XI for the game, with Alim Ozturk only being named as a substitute for the Black Cats, which certainly is one that has come as a surprise to some supporters, as well as George Dobson's inclusion also raising questions.

Plenty of the Stadium of Light faithful took to social media to issue their thoughts on Parkinson's latest team selection for the game against the Tractor Boys.
