Sheffield Wednesday played out a goalless draw with Stoke City at Hillsborough, in Tony Pulis’ first home game in charge of the club.
Stoke controlled the game in terms of possession, but both sides failed to carve out a notable chance to break the deadlock on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls are now sat 23rd in the Championship table, and are four points adrift of safety after this stalemate against Pulis’ former employers.
Wednesday are winless in their last four league matches, which will be a slight concern for Pulis heading towards the potentially season-defining festive period.

That was pretty poor, we stopped them scoring but it means nothing if we have nothing going on up front, Christ knows what Rhodes has to do, really harsh to be put up front on his own then pulled after 35mins, played a 4-6-0 and clearly in them stats it showed! #swfc
