Nottingham Forest picked up their first points of the season with a 1-0 win against Blackburn Rovers today and the performance of striker Lewis Grabban has got fans of the East Midlands club talking.

Joe Lolley's 90th-minute was strike took a deflection, leaving Thomas Kaminski helpless in the Blackburn goal and ensuring Chris Hughton's first game in charge finished in victory.

The Reds looked much improved in the first match of Hughton's tenure but with time ticking away it seemed as though they were going to have to settle for a draw.

For long periods Forest were unable to really test Kaminski, with Grabban failing to have much of an impact in his 74 minutes on the pitch.

The 32-year-old started up top for Hughton's side but didn't manage a shot on target or a successful dribble and lost possession 10 times in total (Sofascore).

The Reds looked more dangerous after Lyle Taylor replaced him in the second half, with Lolley eventually making the breakthrough as time ran out.

Do Nottingham Forest and Derby County have these 10 things in common?

Grabban's performance hasn't gone unnoticed among the City Ground faithful, with many fans taking to Twitter to voice their thoughts.
