West Brom and Nottingham Forest were forced to settle for a point each, as both sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at The Hawthorns.

It was Slaven Bilic's side that took the lead on the day, as Matheus Pereira capitalised on a mistake from Forest midfielder Samba Sow, before teeing up Callum Robinson who finished clinically past Brice Samba.

But that lead didn't last long as Sammy Ameobi's teasing cross was turned into his own net by West Brom defender Kyle Bartley to tie the scores level heading into the break.

Another own goal put West Brom back in front, as Tobias Figueiredo could only fire past his own goalkeeper to give the Baggies the advantage on the day.

But Forest snatched a late point as Matty Cash's stunning strike beat Sam Johnstone to see Forest keep the pressure on Leeds, who aren't in action until later on Saturday.

The result means that Nottingham Forest move ahead of Brentford in the Championship table, whilst West Brom move seven points clear at the top of the second-tier standings.

Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans took to social media to issue their thoughts on Sow's performance from the game after his mistake for West Brom's opener on the day.
