Huddersfield Town's upturn in form came to an end on Saturday, as they were beaten by Preston North End at the John Smith's Stadium.

The Terriers took the lead in the game though, as Fraizer Campbell opened the scoring after eight minutes for Carlos Corberan's side.

But the visitors equalised just six minutes into the second-half, as Alan Browne fired home clinically from inside the penalty area, after Huddersfield failed to clear their lines.

North End grew in confidence from then on, and Browne netted his second goal of the match, as he capitalised on Terriers goalkeeper Ben Hamer's failure to claim the ball, to loop the ball over the shot-stopper to give Alex Neil's side the lead.

Huddersfield couldn't find a way back into the game, with Naby Sarr being sent-off with 12 minutes remaining, as they were left frustrated as they failed to earn any points for their efforts on the day.

The Terriers are now sat 14th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can get back to winning ways in midweek.

Plenty of Huddersfield Town supporters took to social media to voice their frustrations over Hamer's role in the Preston North End winner.
