Blackburn Rovers have been linked with a move for former favourite Jordan Rhodes according to a report from TEAMtalk.

The report claims that the Sheffield Wednesday forward has been told he can leave the club this month, providing that his wage demands are met.

Rhodes has struggled for game time in Garry Monk's side this term, and has made just four starts this season for the Owls.

A return to Ewood Park certainly shouldn't be ruled out in the near future as well, with Rovers currently looking for a player that can fire them up the table, with Bradley Dack out of action for the foreseeable future.

Tony Mowbray can't afford to waste any time in attempting to sign the 29-year-old, with the January transfer window set to slam shut on Friday evening.

Plenty of Blackburn Rovers supporters took to Facebook to issue their thoughts on their reported interest in signing Rhodes before the transfer window closes.

Take a look at the best of the reaction below....

TomTom Grude: "Would be awesome to see him back!"

Glen Disdale: "And we can't afford this wages. The end."

Paul Gregory: "No. Jordan was good for us but that was quite a few years ago now. We've all moved on now. We'll be ok."

Eileen Pass: "He has barely kicked a ball for years, he was good for Rovers but we had a good team then. Gestede, Cairney, Josh King etc all laying it on a plate for him, he isn’t going to come back and suddenly start from where he left off."

Keith Lynch: "Roque Santa Cruz came back and wasn't a patch on what he was before he left. I don't think he'd do much better this time round if he does come back."

Lee David: "I'd take him on loan to season end and see how it pans out."

Matty Ayres: "Galli and Rhodes up front think that would work out to be fair."

Joe Birtwistle: "Bring him home."

John Brooker: "Wouldn't mind him coming back who knows might find his form again."
