Nottingham Forest really did put in a display of two contrasting halves last night at the City Ground against Reading.

The men from by the river Trent needed to try and win this game to put some good distance between them and Reading down near the bottom of the league.

Come half-time, though, it looked as though the Royals were going to win out with the Reds looking pretty disjointed.

Something was clearly said at half-time, though, as Forest were far better for the second 45 and a number of players duly raised their game before Lee Tomlin struck a late equaliser.

That might feel like a win for Forest, then, and fans were certainly in a fairly upbeat mood come full time with Tendayi Darikwa drawing plenty of praise.
