Ipswich Town remain without a win in League One after they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to MK Dons yesterday.

The Tractor Boys started the season as favourites for promotion after a very busy summer that has seen boss Paul Cook backed heavily by the new owners in the market as he looks to build a squad that is capable of going up.

However, it’s been a tough start, with the point at Portman Road meaning they have drawn two and lost two of their four league games.

Speaking after the game, Cook didn’t make excuses for his team, acknowledging that their defending needs to improve if they are to push for promotion, as expected.
