Aston Villa were one of the busier clubs during January's transfer window, bringing in four new players as Dean Smith looked to revive an ailing season.

Lovre Kalinic, Kortney Hause, Tyrone Mings and Tom Carroll all made the move to Villa Park and it is now down to Smith to get them playing well together.

But it looks like they are also looking to the summer already with a move for Nottingham Forest's Joe Lolley on the cards if they were to lose star man Jack Grealish.

Lolley has been one of Forest's stand out performers this season, scoring seven Championship goals for the Reds as well as assisting eight.

The 26-year-old only made the move to the City Ground last January from Huddersfield Town, going on to make 50 appearances for the East Midlands club, but it looks like he could be on the move again in the summer.

So, how could the club line-up next season with Lolley in their ranks?

Here is one way...

Right-wing: Joe Lolley

Despite coming in as a replacement for Grealish, it would be foolish not to use Lolley in his best position.

Other players in the Villa squad are capable of stepping up into that attacking midfield role, allowing their new man to do the damage out wide as he has done for Forest this season.

Attacking-midfield: Conor Hourihane

He has been the man to fill in for Grealish during his injury absence this season and has done a decent job.

Now with four goals and eight assists to his name, the Irishman has proven himself further forward and there is no reason for Smith to take him from that role now.

Left-wing: Andre Green

Villa fans are dying to see more of their talented youth products in the first team and Green is probably top of the list at the moment.

He impressed during his loan spell with Portsmouth so why not give him a go in the Villa starting XI from next season?

Striker: Jonathan Kodjia

Sorry Villa fans, but you need to accept that Tammy Abraham will not be with you next season, especially if you do not win promotion.

Luckily, Kodjia is a proven Championship goal getter so as long as they can keep him at the club, they should not experience too many problems without Tammy.
