Aston Villa continued their fine run of form last weekend as they moved into the top six with another excellent Championship victory.

The Villans have really found their form of late, and Dean Smith deserves a lot of credit for sticking with a way of playing and reaping the rewards of that style along the way.

Of course, some January signings such as Tyrone Mings and Kortney Hause have played a big part in Villa's revival, but we here at FLW think that the form of two of their other key men is going to be what dictates whether they snatch a top six spot or not.

Those two players are attacking pair Jack Grealish, and Tammy Abraham, who have become the attacking platform of which all Villa's good play is built on.

The returning Grealish has already proved his worth in the last few weeks, and had his crowning moment as the darling of Villa Park with his winning goal and all round performance against Birmingham City two weeks back.

For Abraham, he has been a consistent source of goals this season, firing in 21 throughout the season to further cement his place as one of the more highly-rated Premier League youngsters.

If Villa are to continue seeing off teams in and around them and secure a place in the play-offs, then it's vital that both are fit and firing going into the final run-in.

With Grealish creating from his number 10 role and Abraham sticking away the chances, there's every chance that what threatened to be a nightmare season for Villa in the opening few months, could well turn into a memorable one capped with a return to the top flight.
