Aston Villa and Fulham prepare to go head-to-head this afternoon in the richest game in world football with promotion to the Premier League on the line.

The play-off final at Wembley will be a huge occasion for both clubs, with so much at stake on the outcome.

For the neutral, it promises to be a fascinating game, with two very good and effective sides that boast contrasting styles.

With little between the teams, both managers will be hoping their key men stand up and deliver a positive performance and a lot of pressure will be on the keepers to do so.

On-loan Sam Johnstone will continue in goal for Villa, in what could be his last game for the club, whilst Marcus Bettinelli has made the number one spot his own in the past few months.

And, as our graphic shows, these are two of the better keepers in the Championship.

Johnstone's clean sheet percentage of 44.2% is very good and highlights what a fine season he has had, so the fact Bettinelli's is slightly better demonstrates the influence he has had on the team since coming in.

Additionally, both are similar per game when you look at their saves and saves per goal.

However, the one area Bettinelli excels is with his distribution which is the key differences in the philosophies between the two managers, with Slavisa Jokanovic demanding his side play out from the back.

Ultimately though, two of the better EFL goalkeepers will take to the pitch at Wembley today and they both have the potential to be matchwinners for their side in the crucial clash.
