The play-off final between Aston Villa and Fulham takes centre stage tomorrow afternoon as they clash with the final promotion spot at stake.

Finishing third and fourth in the league respectively, it seems as though it's only right that the two meet at the National Stadium tomorrow and there's set to be match-ups across the field.

With that said, the two defences will need to be on their mettle and, with that in mind, we're taking a closer look at how John Terry and Tim Ream's stats compare from the campaign.

Terry, of course, has been inducted into certain Teams of the Year this season but, arguably, Ream can feel aggrieved that he's seemingly been so overlooked this season.

Indeed, looking at the stats it's the Fulham man who just about edges things - though Terry's stats are still good.

Certainly, both will be key in their side's respective challenges tomorrow with the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Lewis Grabban on the prowl, and it might just be Fulham who have the defensive edge.

Much, as it has been all season, will be made of Villa's defence ahead of the game but with these stats in mind the Lilywhites can go into the game confident they can keep the Villans quiet.
