The world of Twitter changed yesterday as a longer character limit was introduced and many football clubs took the chance to mark the occasion with longer messages.

However, Aston Villa shared the below tweet using only four characters to describe Villa Park. They then accompanied it with four quality images of the ground.

That tweet proved popular with the fans and it seemed it was popular with one other club in particular too, as QPR seemed to send out a very similar tweet!

The R's account copied the Villa tweet and shared four images of Loftus Road, from the present day to some more iconic images in the past.

This prompted Aston Villa to send a cheeky dig at their rivals, proving that the blatant copying hadn't gone unnoticed.

The R's didn't respond to the tweet from the Villa account and later sent out another tweet that fully made use of the extra characters available, tweeting a video and the commentary of Bobby Zamora's memorable stoppage time goal that secured promotion to the Premier League against Derby.
