Aston Villa are finally beginning to look like the side we were expecting them to be this season with them in some great form right now.

The men from Villa Park did not get off to a good start this season with them putting in some frustrating performances but they look to have clicked now.

Indeed, their win over Burton Albion earlier this week helped stretch their recent unbeaten run and they'll certainly be looking to do that again when they come up against Bolton this weekend.

Certainly, with the Trotters down at the bottom of the league, the men from Villa Park should fancy doing just that but they must be wary against complacent.

It appears, though, that the players are concentrating on getting another good result on the board with Conor Hourihane targeting keeping the run going - as per his Twitter account:

The midfielder has been Villa's best player so far this season and if he can perform to the maximum this weekend, they'll have a real chance of three points.

The Verdict

Certainly, this is a positive message from the Irishman Hourihane as the men from Villa Park look to get themselves further up the league table.

The Villans are just outside the play-offs in the table now, and the target has to be to get into the top six as soon as possible.
