Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish will cost potential suitors £30m, according to The Mirror.
The Villans have slapped a £30m price tag on their star man to avoid losing him on the cheap this summer.
Cash-strapped Aston Villa are likely to be forced to sell some of their key players during the summer transfer window to generate some much needed money and Grealish is one of the most valuable assets.
Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be leading the chase for the England under-21 international, who was thoroughly impressive in the Championship last season.
The attacking midfielder contributed with three goals and six assists in 22 Championship starts but he could not help his side win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
The local boy and boyhood Villa fan does not want to leave the club but they are being forced into selling him due to their financial crisis.
Spurs made a bid of £15m for the 22-year-old but Aston Villa want double that if they are to sell Grealish this summer.
A number of other Premier League clubs are also in the hunt for Grealish, including Chelsea, West Ham United, Fulham and Leicester City.
The Verdict
Grealish has so much potential and there will be at least one Premier League club ready to splash £30m on him.
Aston Villa need the money badly and as disappointing as it will be to see one of their own leave, they need the cash desperately.
Spurs would be a good environment for Grealish to develop his game but perhaps a move to West Ham or Leicester, where he would be a regular starter, might be better for him.
